Location

We have booked the cabins at Tehachapi Mountain Park:
17350 Water Canyon Rd, Tehachapi, CA 93561
It is close to town, and pretty easy to get to.

Lodging

Cabins

The night of the event we do have access to 10 cabins that have 10 beds in each. Keep in mind that since there is limited space if you choose to use one of these cabins you will likely be sharing the cabin with another family.

These cabins have just single bed bunks. They are a step above camping. So please keep that in mind.

If you are interested in staying in one of the cabins you need to make sure to make that request during your RSVP. We will work with families going up to the event to make sure everyone is comfortable.

Hotels / AirBnBs

There are several hotels in town, and they are a 5-10 minute driving distance from the venue. So super simple. We do not have any hotel blocks. I do recommend choosing chain hotels in town over mom and pop places.

Tehachapi does have some amazing AirBnBs as an alternative to hotels.

Flying

Bakersfield, CA Meadows Field does have flights from Portland and from Denver. It also flies out of other hubs as well. So I suggest checking there, its super close! Otherwise LAX, Ontario, and Burbank would be your best option

Getting Around

Local Taxi

We will be working to make sure the local taxi is in town that night. So he is the best bet if you are not driving yourself from the hotel.

Uber / Lyft

Please keep in mind these do not exist in Tehachapi. The apps may say it is looking for a driver, and may even find one…but it never works out, they typically find a driver in Palmdale or Bakersfield, and as soon as they realize how far away it is they typically cancel, or wait for you to cancel.
